Power Plan

For the advanced triathlete with a power meter, they want more than an arbitrary average power to target. I can use Best Bike Split to help you create a bespoke plan that takes elevation and weather into account, with real time targets

Efficient Transitions

Moving between disciplines is easier said than done and could even set you up for disaster. An overly ambitious bike mount could end your race, while an error with your equipment could land you a penalty. I can help you transition safely and effectively

Race Day Logistics

What time do you need to arrive on site for? When do you register? What do you need to bring with you? When does transition close? When can you collect your equipment? I can helpĀ reduce your anxiety levels by answering your questions.

Meet Your Coach

My name is Simon Olney. I left my life in the film industry in 2016 to pursue a career as a triathlon coach to help age group athletes like you find their finish line.Ā 

I am a British Triathlon High Performing Coach, Certified Nutrition Coach, Strength and ConditioningĀ coach, Level 4 Personal Trainer and winner of the Triathlon England Volunteer of the Year award.

With dozens of triathlon finishes behind me over every distance and a handful of overall wins, I can use my experience to help ensure your race day experience is as fast and smooth as possible.
