My name is Simon Olney, and unlike most triathlon coaches I've been on the same journey as you. I started triathlon as an adult with no existing experience in sport and was completely lost. I felt self conscious and awkward wandering the gym floor unsure what I should be doing, choosing the exercises and machines that looked the easiest without any clear goals or direction.
After qualifying as a Strength and Conditioning Coach I decided to write this programme to help athletes like you get started with strength work and help you avoid the same confusion and frustration I went through trying to work it out for myself.
